Singapore Golden Jubilee Business Award

In commemoration of Singapore’s Jubilee year, 50 Singapore companies were honoured with the Singapore Golden Jubilee Business Award – commissioned by SBF, the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority and DP Information Group.

Woh Hup (Private) Limited was among the Award recipients, in recognition of the company’s achievements and contributions over the decades. Executive Director, Mr Eugene Yong, received the Award from Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat at the SBF’s Semi-Centennial Leadership Conference held on 04th November.

Executive Director, Mr Eugene Yong, was invited to speak in a panel discussion on Succession Planning ; Permeating Values From Sustainable Family Businesses along with Mr Mark Lee, Sing Lun Holdings Ltd CEO, Mr Pek Lian Guan, Tiong Seng Holdings Ltd CEO, Dr Robert Yap, YCH Group Pte Ltd Executive Chairman and Mr Teo Siong Seng, Pacific International Lines (Pte) Ltd Managing Director as the moderator. Mr Yong shared how Woh Hup stayed mindful of domestic and global changes, to ensure that business remained relevant to the needs of their time.
