The MRT Contract T205, awarded by Land Transport Authority, includes the construction of Woodlands South station for Thomson-East Coast Line. The station is situated below Woodlands Avenue 1 and near the junction of Woodlands Drive 16 & 17. It brings convenience to the residents in the Woodlands South area and students from nearby Singapore Sports School, Christ Church and Woodgrove Secondary School.
